The 10 Page Letter IS sales success.

It gives you the opportunity to manipulate your reader's vanity, greed, fear, sentimentality and even good nature to sell your product.

It's length means you can remind your reader of his 'problem', have him agree that a solution would be of enormous benefit, then hold up your product or service in question as being that solution, before showing that not only is this a great solution: it's also great value.

It's a killer format, that works in all sorts of situations.

It's at its best when speaking direct to consumers, but also works well in business-to-business situations where the target is individual entrepreneurs or the self-employed.

Your letter will be 10 to 12 pages (sides) in length, when set out on A4 (or US Letter) paper.

(An order card generally goes in the envelope with a 10 Page Letter, and there's usually a single page Cover Letter, too).

You can have just a 10 Page Letter written, if you wish, but I generally write both the 10 Page Letter and the accompanying Cover Letter for people, as a pair.
